Clipcast Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Clipcast, a social media scheduling and publishing tool operated by Prolific Automation. By creating a Clipcast account or using Clipcast, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Clipcast.

1. About Clipcast

Clipcast lets you connect your social media accounts — including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X — and publish or schedule your content from a single dashboard. Clipcast is operated by Prolific Automation, Grand Blanc, Michigan, United States.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Clipcast. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your Clipcast credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your Clipcast account.

3. Connecting platforms

When you connect a platform to Clipcast, you authorize Clipcast to publish or schedule the content you choose, on your behalf, through that platform's official API. You may disconnect any platform from Clipcast at any time. Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms.

4. Your content and acceptable use

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Clipcast. You are solely responsible for that content and for ensuring you have the rights to publish it. You agree not to use Clipcast to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates the rules of any connected platform (including TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service). Clipcast may suspend access that violates these Terms.

5. TikTok integration

Clipcast's TikTok integration uses TikTok's official Content Posting API and OAuth flow. Clipcast publishes only the content you explicitly choose and never posts without your action. By connecting TikTok to Clipcast you also agree to comply with TikTok's applicable terms and policies. How Clipcast handles TikTok data is described in the Clipcast Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

Clipcast, including its name, design, and software, is owned by Prolific Automation. These Terms do not grant you any right to Clipcast's branding or software beyond using the service as provided.

7. Disclaimers

Clipcast is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Clipcast does not guarantee that publishing through any third-party platform will always succeed, since those platforms are outside Clipcast's control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prolific Automation and Clipcast will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Clipcast.

9. Termination

You may stop using Clipcast and delete your Clipcast account at any time. Clipcast may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms. Upon termination, Clipcast revokes and removes the related platform access tokens.

10. Changes to these Terms

Clipcast may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Clipcast after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
